Thank Santa the Christmas markets in Cologne - all five of them - are better than in Dusselfdorf. Since it was my first time here for it, as well, I was crossing my fingers that the quality and atmosphere were at least at par with the one in Trier.
Christmas wish granted.
Not only did we get into the yuletide spirit, we also got to partake of the food and cheer of the holidays. I think along with half of Cologne.
Even if I found myself wanting to buy some stuff, luckily or not, I didn't have any cash on hand and was able to restrain myself. I can't say I'd probably be doing the same thing tomorrow but we'll see.
One down, four more to go!
