Voila, presenting my newest acquisition, and an unexpectedly expensive one at that. The store we went to was running a promotion that caught my attention so much so I made sure to stop by last weekend. My current pair encountered misfortune during my out of town holiday and so had to be replaced, and the Eye Wish Opticiens seemed to have some good replacements. The discount they were offering was so substantial the frames I ended up choosing eventually came up free of charge but I certainly wasn't prepared for the steep climb in recent lens prices. While I did go for the high-priced variety when I was still in the States, the idea I'd be spending the same over here was a surprise to me. I'd like to think I wasn't duped since stores here generally have a good reputation for integrity but it did come to mind. At least they look good.
